About my confection

My name, who runs 3xA, is Alma Augusta Andersson. I am a teacher and craftsman by day. With training and experience in the bakery and pastry profession. I graduated in the spring of 1998 as a baker and confectioner and in the spring of 2002 I took a journeyman's certificate in this profession and have since then had a business alongside my studies and work.

I use common foods, but over the years I have experimented with my own chocolate mixes.The flavors of the fillings are different depending on what I'm in the mood for at the moment or what the customer has asked for. Can most often also accept orders for cakes and other baked goods.

About my crafts

Painting and drawing

I've been painting and drawing all my life! Usually I paint in acrylic but vary freely and have a hard time choosing the subject I paint as it sometimes becomes abstract and sometimes concrete and like to use mixed media! I usually draw concretely with abstract details such as not drawing faces.

Sewing

I have always sewn. Periodically, I have only embroidered, and for many years my sewing consisted mainly of patching and mending clothes. Now all my six sewing machines are used extensively. I mainly sew children's clothes in knitted fabric, but there are a lot of other things as well.

Photography

When I got my first camera in 1990, I started photographing from time to time. The photos were always developed with a duplicate so that I could share photos with family and friends. When digital cameras came into my life,there was even more photography !! I have worked as a school photographer for a short time. Macro photography is something that is really close to my heart! But I can't stick to just the macro!! There are many different types of photography and I accept commission as a photographer!

Jewellery making

Like all children, I made some jewellery as a child. But it wasn't until 2007 that a friend inspired me to start making jewelry properly. Since then, I have periodically made quite a lot of jewelry.

Paper crafts

For as long as I can remember, I've been doing paper crafts!! Mostly Scrapbooking

I have always seen it as a way to show my surroundings appreciation for getting a nice card. But lately there have been a lot of notepads both now and then.

Engraving

When I got an idea to engrave glass in 2023, I couldn't do it according to templates or in the kind of machines that usually do this. Well, I figured I'd do this completely freehand! This was something I found very enjoyable although it took me a while to learn techniques to get depth in the images. If I am going to engrave something specific, it may happen that I use templates, but then in most cases I have drawn the template myself.
